Testimonials “We tried to teach our daughter chess so many times, she never wanted to learn. We took her to another program, she said chess was boring. BUT, after attending lessons at your program, all she can ever do is talk about how fun chess is. We couldn’t believe it. She now loves chess. Thank you, me and my husband are so happy we found your program and so excited for what you have done for our new chess player!” A.J., HHCF Chess Student Parent
"I love this place, this is the best chess camp I have ever been to!" Justin, Summer Chess Camp Student
"My son never wants to leave when I come to pick him up from his chess lessons. I never thought I would see a day where my child did not want to leave a class. My child is a better player and happier student because of your program thank you." K. Gupta, PhD

Chess & Life Strategies Program provides students with
tools to learn about chess for both the casual or competitive player.
This program is unique because it teaches students to apply chess
board strategies to "real life" situations in an effort to create strong
decision making when dealing with their education, peers and
community. This program is offered as an After-School Program as
well as Saturday Chess Club
After-School Programs are available to schools K-12. The
After-School program meets once or twice a week based on your
school needs. All students in each participating school are eligible to
join the HHCF Competitive Chess Team. Through the course of the
program, students are introduced to chess concepts and receive
personalized attention to help them excel. In addition, we provide
tutors to assist participants with homework and area's where they
may struggle in school. We are proud partners with organizations in
the San Francisco/San Jose Bay Area and various locations
throughout the US
Performing Arts division is a comprehensive program that
supports and encourages students to use their creative minds through
a variety of Performing Art outlets. The HHCF knows that the
fitness of the mind is just as important as fitness of the body and our
performing arts programs encourages everything from creative
thought process through film/music creation to physical fitness
through the Dance and Cheer Program.
Homework Helpers is an excellent program for students who
need a little extra help completing their homework. The HHCF
understands that it all starts with education and with most tutoring
programs costing nearly $40 an hour, it is not possible for all children
to get the help they need. Homework Helpers provides tutors to
assist students complete their homework as well as provide tutoring
assistance in area's where a student may struggle. Student K-12 are
welcome at our Homework Helper Club. For days and hours in your
area click here.
Day Camps provides student a place to be educated and entertained
when school is out. We offer Winter, Spring and Summer Break
Camps as well as Single Day School Break (school closures due to
budget cuts, etc) Camps. Our award winning camp has catered to
over 450 participants each year. Campers get an opportunity to
explore everything the HHCF has to offer, from Chess, Educational
Tutoring, Performing Arts to Bully Prevention Programs. Campers
will learn and keep their minds active while meeting new friends.

Bully Prevention & School Assemblies is our most popular
programs. Bullying is a challenge people face in school and in work.
Bullying comes in a variety of forms and sometimes even the bully
doesn't believe they are doing anything wrong. The HHCF travels
across the U.S. hosting school assemblies focusing on three core
subjects: Life Strategies (positive life choices, challenges facing
youth), Fitness of the Mind & Body (Chess, Education, Creative
Expression, Dance, Martial Arts), Bully Prevention (not your
typically Anti-Bully Rally). Host an assembly at your school today.
